DESIGNING A NEW MARKETING WEBSITE

New website - lookout.com
Lookout is a cybersecurity company that makes it possible to keep your data secure. As data goes mobile, Lookout closes the security gap for both individuals and enterprises. Lookout is based in San Francisco with over 7 offices worldwide.
The launch of the new lookout.com website was a very large, multi-team "all hands on deck" effort. We worked with an external digital agency, Odopod, on web development and content strategy. The overall project took over 6 months to complete.
CREATING A FLEXIBLE WEB DESIGN SYSTEM
We worked with an outside agency, Odopod, on content strategy and web development.
Our internal research team developed user personas to help us better understand the Lookout enterprise customer. The agency then used these materials to help us craft our story to appeal more to this new enterprise audience.
Design provided early ideas and branding materials to the agency to get things started from a development standpoint. We worked together to create a modular system that made it possible for us to create new pages quickly and ensure visual consistency throughout the site (shown below).
We worked closely with the agency to produce the home and core product pages. We continued to evolve the illustrations, photography and copy on all pages based off of the agency's proposed directions.
After the final agency handoff, our internal teams were responsible for developing content and design for the remaining site pages, which included over 20 pages.
Driving awareness & product interest.
One of the biggest marketing challenges is demand generation. Our previous website was visually beautiful but wasn’t creating any type of product demand nor was it connected back to any other costumer experiences.
Our new website is seamlessly connected to all sales channels; trade shows, emails, social media and various other sales enablement tools. All new gated case studies and informative articles are linked thru these channels back to the website. This helped us start to capture more high-quality leads.
